Will Home of Kitchens pull out and take away the existing kitchen?
Yes, we are able to dismantle and remove your existing cabinetry ensuring there is minimal inconvenience throughout the kitchen installation process.
Can you arrange the tradespeople?
We have qualified installers who can liaise with your preferred plasterer, tiler, plumber and electrician.
At what point do I need to select the appliances?
It is important that you select the type of appliances early in the design process. This enables our kitchen designers to have precise measurements to ensure that everything fits as it should.
How much does a new kitchen cost?
They vary in price depending on the size, layout and materials selected. Home of Kitchens specialises in designing custom kitchens for clients with any budget. Our clients’ budgets can start at around $3000 excluding appliances.
Can I see my kitchen design before the manufacturing process begins?
Yes, Home of Kitchens uses a computer aided design (CAD) program that provides you with 2D and 3D visible representations of what the finished kitchen will look like. It is also possible to view your cabinetry, if desired, throughout the manufacturing process at our factory in Dandenong.
How long does the process take?
The manufacturing process for custom kitchens takes approximately three to six weeks depending on the finish and materials selected. Most kitchen installation work is completed in just a few days. After you accept our quote, an information sheet will be forwarded to you outlining the entire process.
Do you offer a free measure and quote?
Yes, we can provide an obligation-free, comprehensive quotation at our showroom. Please phone the Home of Kitchens on 03 9793 4233 to arrange an appointment with a kitchen designer. Or you can email your plans to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you with a quote. On payment of deposit, we will send an experienced cabinetmaker/installer to the site to do a check measure.
When is your showroom open?
We are open Monday to Friday (8.00am–5.30pm) and Saturday (8.30am–3.00pm).
We are closed on Sundays and all public holidays.
